Salma Hayek has become a grandmother, quietly and about a month before anyone outside the family knew about it. Her stepson François Pinault Jr., the eldest child of her husband François-Henri Pinault, revealed the news on August 12 via an Instagram carousel posted by his wife Lara Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck, which introduced their newborn son and simultaneously confirmed two surprises at once: the couple had a baby, and they had gotten married, with Lara referring to François Jr. as her husband in the caption. Among the intimate family photos is one of Salma holding the newborn in her arms while François Jr. leans in close beside them, a moment that arrives just weeks before Hayek turns 60 on September 2. The baby's name is François, continuing a naming tradition that now spans at least four generations of the Pinault family: the child's great-grandfather is François Pinault, the French billionaire and art collector; his grandfather is François-Henri Pinault, chairman of the luxury group Kering; his father is François Pinault Jr.; and now he is François too.
