Chipotle's Boorito is back this Halloween, and a costume can get you a $6 entrée at participating U.S. restaurants. Guests who show up dressed up after 3 p.m. local time until closing can claim the deal. It is limited to one discounted entrée per costumed guest, and it is for dining in the restaurant only. Chipotle says each restaurant decides whether a costume counts.
Boorito began in 2000 as a burrito themed costume contest, according to Chipotle. Over the years it has grown into a yearly Halloween tradition. In 2020 it went fully digital, and in 2021 it even visited the metaverse with a virtual restaurant. Later years brought late night hours in some college towns and meme inspired costumes. This year, Chipotle is also offering free delivery on digital orders the day after Halloween for fans who stay out late. That offer needs a $10 minimum order, and some fees may still apply. Guacamole, queso and extra meat cost extra, and the entrée still earns Rewards points. So pick your favorite costume, gather the family, and enjoy a festive night out with a burrito bowl or a bag full of tacos.
