Chips Ahoy Will Pay You $25,000 To Guess This Cookie Flavor

Chips Ahoy surprised snack lovers this year by hiding a single specially marked golden cookie inside bags sold across the country, and whoever found it could claim a $25,000 cash prize. The cookie looks almost identical to its chocolate chip siblings, except for a subtle golden shimmer baked right into the dough. Shoppers everywhere started checking every bag a little more closely, hoping their next snack break might turn into a life changing moment.

No forms to fill out before buying, no codes to scan first. Just the simple joy of opening a familiar bag of cookies and maybe, just maybe, finding something extraordinary inside. The odds are slim, with only a handful of golden cookies distributed among millions of bags nationwide, but that rarity is exactly what made it fun to imagine. Families joked about splitting open every cookie at the table, and online communities swapped stories of near misses and lucky finds. In the end, it's a reminder that a little everyday treat can carry a big surprise. The official flavor will remain a secret until Halloween!
