Harry Styles Broke The Wembley Stadium Record

On July 4th, 2026, 80,000 people packed Wembley Stadium for the final show of Harry Styles' 12-night London residency, and when the last note faded, Styles became the holder of a brand new Guinness World Records title: the longest run of concerts at Wembley Stadium in a single run by any musician in history. He beat Coldplay's previous record of 10 nights, set in 2025. What began as six shows quickly doubled due to overwhelming demand. "Harry Styles' record-breaking 12-date run is a testament to the scale, ambition and cultural impact of his live performances," said Guinness World Records adjudicator Will Munford. Wembley posted simply: "12 shows. One record. A place in Wembley history."
But the moment that stopped the show had nothing to do with records. Standing on the Wembley stage on the final night, Styles paused and looked out at the crowd. "I wouldn't be on this stage if it wasn't for four friends of mine that were a massive part of this journey," he said. "I wanna thank Niall, Louis, Zayn, and my dear friend Liam for these nights and everything that I learned in this time. The friendship, everything. None of this would be possible. I wouldn't be here without you. Thank you so much." Liam Payne, Styles' bandmate in One Direction, passed away in 2024. The group formed just outside Wembley on the set of The X Factor in 2010. Styles' mother Anne Twist posted on Instagram: "How could I have possibly known he would break records doing exactly what he was put in this world to do."
