Legoland Unveiled the World's Largest Lego Stadium And It's Perfect

California is already one of the most exciting places on earth to be this summer, and a beloved theme park in Carlsbad just made the season even more memorable for families all across the state. Legoland California Resort has unveiled a fully transformed version of its iconic Lego SoFi Stadium inside Miniland USA, giving the already extraordinary display a complete World Cup makeover in celebration of the FIFA World Cup 2026 happening right here in the United States. The original stadium model was built by a team of 25 master model builders who spent more than 6,000 hours carefully assembling over 500,000 Lego bricks into a structure stretching more than 30 feet long, 15 feet wide, and standing over four feet tall. It holds the official distinction of being the largest Lego stadium in the entire world, and the brand new soccer-themed transformation added another 15,000 bricks to the already remarkable display.
The updated model now features brick-built soccer players, lively match-day crowd scenes, and a miniature showdown between the United States Men's National Team and Paraguay taking place right on the tiny field inside the stadium. Families visiting the park through July 19 can also take part in the full FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience, which includes interactive soccer training stations, Lego building activities, and the chance to design a custom jersey in Lego bricks and add it to the Heroes of Play Wall. The entire World Cup experience, including the stadium display and all the soccer activities spread throughout the park, is included with regular admission to the resort. With the World Cup unfolding across California and the rest of the country this summer, Legoland has found the most delightfully pint-sized way imaginable to bring the excitement of the global game home to families.
