22,141 Pitbull Fans Just Set A World Record By Showing Up To His Concert Bald

If you have ever been to a Pitbull concert, you probably already know the tradition. Fans show up dressed exactly like the man himself: black suit, sunglasses, and a bald cap. It has become one of the most beloved rituals in live music. And on July 10th 2026 at BST Hyde Park in London, that tradition became a Guinness World Records title. A total of 22,141 fans showed up to Pitbull's outdoor concert wearing bald caps, officially shattering the previous record of 2,000 and claiming the title for the largest gathering of people wearing bald caps ever recorded. They beat the old record by more than ten times. The crowd filled Hyde Park in a shining sea of smooth heads as Pitbull worked through his hits under what he himself might describe as a real-life "Fireball." Despite the London heatwave, not one apparently took the cap off early. The commitment was absolute. Guinness World Records Adjudicator Will Munford, looking out from the stage, called the scenes "absolutely incredible."
The bald cap tradition has built organically through social media over years, with fans showing up dressed as their favorite artist as a tribute. BST Hyde Park pre-organized the record attempt around the show and ensured adjudicators were in place. "The fact that so many people donned bald caps in the heatwave to break this record is a huge testament to the power of music and the communities that fanbases can become," Munford said. "Being part of a massive cultural moment like this is always going to be special." Pitbull's tour continues. The record stands. And somewhere in London, 22,141 people are finding increasingly creative uses for their commemorative bald caps.
