Super Bowl LX In Review

The Seattle Seahawks just claimed their second Super Bowl championship in franchise history with a dominant 29 to 13 victory over the New England Patriots, and running back Kenneth Walker the Third took home the Super Bowl MVP award after racking up over 150 yards from scrimmage while kicker Jason Myers made history by nailing five field goals which is a brand new Super Bowl record. What made Walker’s achievement even more heartwarming was that his dad who normally avoids crowds attended his very first NFL game in person, and it took Walker’s agent to convince his father to show up and witness his son’s greatest moment. The emotional running back said if he’d told his childhood self about winning Super Bowl MVP he never would have believed it was possible, calling the entire experience surreal for a dream filled kid from Tennessee.

The halftime show kicked off with Bad Bunny delivering a performance celebrating Puerto Rico and all the America’s, including bringing dancing celebrity guests like Pedro Pascal, Jessica Alba, and Cardi B. The night got even more magical when a real couple who had invited Bad Bunny to their wedding got the surprise of a lifetime as he flipped the invitation and married them live on stage during his performance, then Lady Gaga performed a beautiful salsa version of Die With a Smile. Seahawks punter Michael Dickson also had a quietly brilliant night booting seven punts for a 48 yard average and pinning three inside the 20 yard line, consistently flipping field position and proving that sometimes the unsung heroes make all the difference in championship games.
