Taylor Swift has become a beloved member of the Kelce family not just through her relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce but also through her impressive skills in the kitchen, particularly her baking abilities that have won over the entire clan including Chiefs teammates. On her podcast Not Gonna Lie, Swift’s soon to be sister in law Kylie revealed that there’s quite the baking tradition among the Kelce women with Swift fitting right in, explaining that Donna Kelce’s dinner rolls are a big hit, Grandma Mary had great chocolate chip cookies and Taylor makes a bangin’ sourdough loaf that is so good. Back in August 2025 the superstar shared that she’d taken up granny hobbies since wrapping up her worldwide Eras tour with bread baking being top among them, admitting on her fiancé’s New Heights podcast that she has a different baking obsession every six months and right now they’re very deep in a sourdough obsession that has taken over her life. Swift’s doughy experiments have run the gamut from blueberry lemon to cinnamon swirl to a sprinkle filled Funfetti flavor for Travis’ nieces, proving she’s not just sticking to the basics.
Sourdough may be her latest love but the pop star has long had a passion for homemade pop tarts, with Kylie Kelce calling them a Kelce family favorite and Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid revealing in February 2024 that Swift had brought in a batch for the team’s offensive linemen who gobbled them right up. Chiefs star Chris Jones gushed a year later that her pop tarts are amazing as the team was gearing up for the 2025 Super Bowl, saying he was asking Travis about how she gets the crust so fire because it tastes like biscuits. The official Pop Tart brand even launched a social media campaign and took out a full page ad in the Kansas City Star imploring Swift to release her recipe, though while her go to pastry pocket flavors include strawberry, raspberry and blueberry she has yet to spill the secret behind Pop Tart Taylor’s Version.
