The prestigious event will feature the presentation of awards including the coveted Woman of the Year prize along with performances from top artists, with Emmy winning singer, actress and podcaster Keke Palmer set to host and perform following the release of her album Just Keke. Billboard’s co chief editorial officer Leila Cobo emphasized that Women in Music is about recognizing success and possibility, explaining the company is proud to shine a spotlight on women who are not only making great music but also transforming the industry in meaningful ways. Last year’s Women in Music saw Doechii take home Woman of the Year while Gracie Abrams, JENNIE of BLACKPINK, aespa, Megan Moroney and more stars accepted various awards celebrating their contributions to music. Over the years the event has honored everyone from Taylor Swift to Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, SZA, Charli xcx, Rosalía and Doja Cat, establishing itself as one of the most important annual celebrations recognizing women’s achievements in an industry that has historically been male dominated.
