These Squirrels Ate Better Than Most PEOPLE On Thanksgiving

Christina Ardolino, an Englewood Colorado woman and wildlife photographer, prepared an unreal Thanksgiving spread for her backyard squirrels for the fifth year in a row. She spent three hours creating an elaborate feast that included peanut butter banana and walnut pancakes garnished with pecan crumble, peanut butter banana and walnut quesadillas, banana slices tossed in walnut crumble and drizzled with peanut butter, a peanut butter filled cone topped with pecan crumble, pecan pie, fresh fruit, and a layered peanut butter banana walnut cake frosted with peanut butter and topped with pecan crumbs and garnished with pecan dust. Christina regularly feeds the squirrels an assortment of mixed nuts but goes big for the holidays because she wants them to feel special. Her reasoning is simple and heartfelt: every living being deserves to feel love and this is her way of sharing it.

The adorable video of the squirrels munching on the gourmet meal captured hearts across social media. These backyard critters literally ate better than many people on Thanksgiving Day with their five course feast prepared by someone who understands that compassion extends beyond humans. Christina’s annual tradition proves that holiday spirit isn’t just about feeding your own family but recognizing that all creatures deserve celebration. Her dedication as an animal lover shines through in the elaborate preparation and presentation of each carefully crafted dish. The squirrels clearly appreciate her efforts, gathering eagerly around the spread she lays out in her Colorado backyard each November.
